The beauty and wellness industry is forever changing. It is a constant ebb and flow with trends pushing things in and out of focus. As a professional in the industry, it is my job to determine the difference between what would be just a moment in beauty history versus something truly vital. Lash extensions have been through a lot of changes since their inception leaving some with the question, “are we still doing this?” The answer is an absolute yes!
Lash extensions are exactly what they sound like, it is an extension of your natural lashes. Therefore, creating a look that is curated for each client is my focus. I make sure I not only apply extensions that will be healthy and safe for your naturals, but also marrying what will emphasize the eye and face. Does the eye need a little lift? Are we focusing on opening up a smaller eye? Or are we trying to extend the width of the eye for a sensual look? Every individual has their own desired look for their extensions and it is my purpose to make that happen.
The question I get most frequently about lash extensions is, “will these damage my natural lashes?” No, they will not...as long as they are applied correctly. When I was certified in Xtreme Lash, a big part of my training was about the anatomy of the eye and health of the natural lashes. I learned how to properly extend the lash as to not cause any follicular damage or breakage. The founder of Xtreme is a nurse by trade, therefore this is a very important topic in all of the certifications. I always analyze my clients lashes prior to putting any extensions on them, to determine what will be appropriate and healthy for each client. Extensions come in all different lengths and widths, so that analyzation is a very important part of the process to determine what can be applied. Maintaining the integrity of the natural lashes is always priority one. My goal is to marry your desired look, with what I know will both look beautiful and keep the lashes strong and healthy.
I specialize in natural and undetectable lash extensions. I love when my clients tell me their loved ones can’t quite figure out what they’ve done differently. I want the compliments to be how great their eyes look, not how great their extensions look. My clients leave my treatment room with a gorgeous set of lashes that are custom for them. This alone makes them look more natural because they are carefully designed for them. Each lash is placed with care, in a way that is flush with your natural lashes. I love a feathery appearance to the extensions. Over the last decade of doing lashes, I have honed my skills to know exactly what and where the lashes should be to achieve this. By mixing lengths and widths, I can create a set for my clients that is fluffy and unique to them. Our natural lashes are not one length and width all the way across, so extensions should follow in that for the most undetectable look. This has become my signature, and it makes me so happy when my clients are in love each and every time they look in the mirror after their appointment.
